Bill of HSBW (inside joke) has built 3 boats over the winter if I'm not mistaken, the Dumas USCG 47 lifeboat, 30" San Pedro push tug and a Micro tug. You never know with Bill, he just might have boat finished for the summer. I hear that there will be a few more Micro tugs buzzing around the pond.

Empire State Model Mariners member, Gary has been working a few boats, one of them being the River Barge. It features a unique construction of the hull and a powered elevating wheelhouse. It should be interesting to see it in operation once completed. He's also working this Fireboat using a hull from an existing boat.
This is Paul's new crusier, it was transformed from this sad looking Chris Craft. Paul doesn't go by the book, he prefers to scratch build his boats, so when he bought this wreck, he already had in mind what he was going to do. This is what it looked like when he bought it. His fine craftsmanship is turning out a beauty! Look at the detail of the aft deck.
As we boaters say, 'build in winter and sail in summer'. That's exactly what our members have been doing all winter, some more than others, and some like me acquiring new boats. Suffice to say, Empire State Model Mariners can't wait for the 2017 sailing season to start!
